One of my favorite things to do is working with old and odd objects to come up with something in the way of lighting. When I was young, I enjoyed disassembling small appliances to see how the were made and how they worked. Reassembly wasn't always in the cards. Now, scientific equipment, vintage lanterns, instruments, heaters and I'm-not-sure-whats lend themselves to re-purposing into, with luck, intriguing lighting.
